Garth Brooks thrills sellout crowd at State Farm Stadium with record-breaking concert
Garth Brooks broke State Farm Stadium's attendance record Saturday in Glendale — sorry Final Four — while also setting a new record for the largest crowd at any single-night performance in the history of Arizona by selling no fewer than 77,653 tickets.
How exactly did he manage that, you wonder?
Well, if you were there, you'd know the answer.
Brooks has always been a master at shrinking the size of a venue, as Valley fans were reminded in 2015 when he came out of retirement and sold out Talking Stick Resort Arena six times in two weekends after 19 years without a Valley concert.
