Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood to Perform on NBC’s “Opry 100: A Live Celebration”
Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Blake Shelton, Vince Gill, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, and more have signed on to help The Grand Ole Opry celebrate its centennial anniversary with a primetime television special this spring.
Shelton, who partnered with Garth on “Dive Bar,” will host NBC’s “Opry 100: A Live Celebration” on Wednesday, March 19 at 8-11 p.m. ET and simulcast on Peacock.

In the days surrounding March 17, Music City will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with culture-rich events, including Music City Irish Fest, combining plenty of music, dancing, food, and fun. Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk will host some of them.
While Nashville eagerly awaits the chance to celebrate the Luck of the Irish every year, a recent trip to Ireland revealed the Irish don’t wait for holidays to celebrate country music.

“All good things come to an end” – it’s a saying that dates back more than 600 years – but it still holds true. And it will again when Garth Brooks plays the final shows in his hugely-popular – and long-running – Las Vegas residency.
“Residencies or tours – if you do your job right, the very last show you play is going to be your best one. So, that’s kinda where we’re at right now!” Garth says as the final performances that’ll cap his nearly two-year-long run inside The Colosseum at Caesars Palace unfold. “The band…everybody…feels like they are on the top of their game.”

Veteran concert promoter Ben Farrell, who began to work with Garth in 1989 and was responsible for masterminding his record-breaking concert tours, will be posthumously honored with the CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 CMA Touring Awards.
