Setting The Table

Trisha Yearwood steps forward in episode 3, overseeing the design of her 3rd -floor kitchen at Friends in Low Places and deciding which of her mouth-watering dishes will make it to the FILP menu.

“If you’re gonna have a Garth honky-tonky, you’re gonna have Trisha food,” she says, while admitting she’s nervous about the idea of scaling up her recipes to feed crowds of hungry guests.

Trisha brings viewers to her Mayberry-like hometown of Monticello, Georgia, and backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, sharing how music and food have always been powerful forces in her life.

“Food and music bring people together, and now I have the chance to bring my home kitchen to life on Lower Broadway,” she says.

By bringing Trisha into this, all of a sudden it’s family,” Garth says. “Everything has a story, and everything comes back to how I want to be treated if I walk into a place.”
