The Wait is Over! Garth Brooks’s The Anthology, Part V: The Comeback is Here, and Trisha Yearwood Joined the Conversation
Garth Brooks celebrated the April 4 release of The Anthology, Part V: The Comeback, The First Five Years at Amazon and TalkShopLive by wrapping up his 5-part Anthology V conversation series with the person who has been by his side every step of the way—Trisha Yearwood. Watch here on Garth's TalkShopLive channel as Garth and Trisha relive the highs and lows of the comeback tour. Listen to the audio live on The Garth Channel and hear highlights on the BIG 615 and Tailgate Radio, all part of The Sevens Radio Network on TuneIn.
Garth and Trisha talk about their decision to move back to Nashville and tour together. The joy they found in reuniting their road family was mixed with nervousness about starting over. Together they recall their favorite moments, hardest lessons, and sweetest surprises from the comeback tour.
“The second time is not ever as big as the first time . . . it’s impossible, and yet it happened,” Trisha says to Garth. “And the only person who doubted it could happen was you.”
Each episode of the Anthology V series features Garth reminiscing and sharing stories with the people who made the comeback with him. Past conversations included musicians Mike Palmer (drums), Jimmy Mattingly (fiddle), and Chris Leuzinger (guitar); Anthology author Warren Zanes; singer-songwriter Karyn Rochelle; road manager Bryan Kennedy; production manager Brian Petree; radio/TV host Storme Warren; and recording engineer Mark Miller.
The Anthology, Part V: The Comeback, The First Five Years, is available now at Amazon and TalkShopLive. It contains the voices of everyone who made the comeback with Garth, including songwriters, the band and crew, family and friends. It comes with over 150 never-before-seen photos, 6 CDs and 66 songs, including remastered versions of tracks from Garth’s early catalog, road-tested favorites from Man Against Machine and Gunslinger, and live recordings from the World Tour.
