THE COUNTDOWN TO GARTH BROOKS'S “THE ANTHOLOGY, PART V” IS ON, AND THE CONVERSATION CONTINUES

Just  over two weeks remain before the April 4 release of Garth Brooks’s The Anthology, Part V: The Comeback, The First Five Years at Amazon and TalkShopLive.  On March 17, Garth continues his 5-part conversation series with the people who brought the record-shattering comeback tour to life.  Pull up a seat and watch here at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT as Garth swaps stories and shares memories with Anthology author Warren Zanes and singer-songwriter Karyn Rochelle. Listen to the audio live on The Garth Channel and hear highlights on the BIG 615 and Tailgate Radio, all part of The Sevens Radio Network on TuneIn.

Garth kicked off the Anthology V conversation series with touring band members Mike Palmer (drums) and Jimmy Mattingly (fiddle), and studio musician Chris Leuzinger (guitar), who has played on every Garth record and eventually joined them on the road.

The series continues on March 17 with Garth and Warren Zanes, the writer who “puts hundreds of voices all together and makes one story out of them,” as they talk about a statement from Warren’s preface to Anthology V: “If walking away was a test, so was coming back.”  Their conversation spans the ups and downs of the comeback tour, the lessons learned, and the artistic and personal transformations that took place.

Garth then introduces Karyn Rochelle, “one of the greatest talents to grace music,” who opened each show on the comeback tour and then joined Vicki Hampton and Robert Bailey on background vocals for Garth’s set.  Their conversation details what Karyn describes as “every terrifying, exhilarating moment” from an experience that was “thrilling beyond words.”

The Anthology V conversation series continues on March 24 with Garth’s production manager Brian Petree and road manager Bryan Kennedy.  On March 31, Garth chats with radio and TV host Storme Warren and sound engineer Mark Miller. The final conversation, with Trisha Yearwood, will stream on Friday, April 4, release date for The Anthology, Part V.

The Anthology, Part V: The Comeback, The First Five Years, will be available April 4 at Amazon and TalkShopLive.  It comes with over 150 never-before-seen photos, 6 CDs and 66 songs, including remastered versions of tracks from Garth’s early catalog, road-tested favorites from Man Against Machine and Gunslinger, and live recordings from the World Tour.
