GARTH IN LAS VEGAS: “It’s Been a Great Run!”
“All good things come to an end” – it’s a saying that dates back more than 600 years – but it still holds true. And it will again when Garth Brooks plays the final shows in his hugely-popular – and long-running – Las Vegas residency.
“Residencies or tours – if you do your job right, the very last show you play is going to be your best one. So, that’s kinda where we’re at right now!” Garth says as the final performances that’ll cap his nearly two-year-long run inside The Colosseum at Caesars Palace unfold. “The band…everybody…feels like they are on the top of their game.”
Since June 2023, Garth’s Colosseum residency has created countless one-of-a-kind memories for people, as each show features varying members of his band…appearances by legendary studio musicians who’ve played on his records…and frequent show-stopping moments from (and with) Trisha Yearwood.
“Coming to the end of the Caesars run – it’s a bittersweet kind of feeling,” he admits. “I mean, everyone loves accomplishment and to reach your goals,” he explains, adding, “The bittersweet part of it is…[you] fall in love with the people – I’m gonna miss ’em!”
“To turn out the way it has, has just been amazing,” Garth acknowledges. “It’s been a great run.”
