GARTH BROOKS WRAPS UP 4-SHOW RUN IN INDIANAPOLIS TO KICK OFF BLAME IT ALL ON MY ROOTS ARENA TOUR

As soon as he took the stage at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Thursday night, Garth Brooks knew he’d made the right decision to open his Blame It All On My Roots Tour in Indianapolis.

“THIS is how you start a tour!!!” he posted after the show. “INDY…night one of four, and you absolutely blew the roof off this place!”

The feverish excitement from opening night—from Garth and the sold-out crowds--continued throughout the weekend. While Garth offered up his most-loved hits during each show, he changed up the setlists.

"I saw the setlist posted everywhere after the first night,” Brooks said. "So it was up to us to make EACH of the following nights their own show.  We owed that to them."

Garth more than kept that promise, performing album cuts like “We Bury the Hatchet,” and “In Lonesome Dove” along with covers of his favorite artists like George Strait, Keith Whitley, and Randy Travis.  Keeping with tradition, he also honored audience requests during the Housekeeping part of each show, playing the requests on posters held in the crowd and making each concert truly unique.

Marilyn Scott-Hunziker shared:  “We saw him tonight and I'm still smiling from ear to ear. The set list was different and the entire experience was incredible. I would love to go see him again here this weekend in Indy! Just spectacular.”
