Garth Brooks Shares His Idea of the Perfect Garth Birthday Party

Garth Brooks will celebrate another trip around the sun on Friday, and he plans to do it in grand fashion – in pajamas.

“Having birthdays is still better than not having them,” Garth laughs. “But here’s the deal … my birthday is every day … literally. Miss Yearwood and the people in my life spoil me every day.”

With Trisha, you can bet there are going to be amazing dishes and desserts for the special occasion.

"My favorite cake my whole life is German Chocolate, " Garth said. "But because we have a lot of friends whose birthdays are around the same time, she makes a lot of different cakes...carrot cakes, key lime cakes...crazy good!"All of that delicious cake might mean special accommodations are necessary — possibly even elastic waistbands.

“We have some rules at my birthday party,” Garth said. “No gifts. You must wear your jammies or your most comfortable clothing. And you must eat too much. That’s the perfect party for me.”
