Garth kicks off the series on March 10 with touring band members Mike Palmer (drums) and Jimmy Mattingly (fiddle), and studio musician Chris Leuzinger (guitar), who has played on every Garth record and eventually joined them on the road.“
Be it in this Anthology or the others, these guys are the voices you’ll hear and the faces you’ll see. They know the story better than anybody because we’ve taken the ride together,” Garth says.
Their conversation recalls Garth inviting them to join the comeback tour, their most memorable moments on stage, and what it was like to find their way home and witness the power of music night after night, show after show.
The Anthology, Part V: The Comeback, The First Five Years, will be available April 4 at Amazon and TalkShopLive. It comes with over 150 never-before-seen photos, 6 CDs and 66 songs, including remastered versions of tracks from Garth’s early catalog, road-tested favorites from Man Against Machine and Gunslinger, and live recordings from the World Tour.
