Garth Brooks And Ronnie Dunn Have Massive Radio Premiere, Are Most-Added With "Rodeo Man"
Garth Brooks released his new seven-disc boxed set, The Limited Series, Tuesday exclusively at Bass Pro Shops. And that isn't all he has to celebrate.
Brooks' new duet "Rodeo Man" with Ronnie Dunn made its radio premiere Monday and became the No. 1 Most-Added song at Country Radio. "Rodeo Man" is from Brooks' new 14th album, "Time Traveler," which is only available in his The Limited Series boxed set. "Rodeo Man" can be streamed at Amazon Music.
The singer once again teamed with Big Machine Records for the new music, and "Rodeo Man" racked up an impressive 69 first-week station playlist adds. Brooks previously paired with Big Machine Records to release his comeback single "More Than A Memory," which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Hot Country Singles.
"Working with Garth is always exciting as he's always thinking BIG and loves to do things in his own unique way," said Big Machine Label Group Chairman Scott Borchetta. "Adding the amazing Ronnie Dunn to the mix makes a great recipe for success."
"It's buckin' AWESOME!" Brooks says. "Ronnie Dunn is simply one of the greatest voices in all of Country music."
Dunn and Phil O'Donnell wrote the cowboy country "Rodeo Man," and Brooks produced it along with the rest of his Time Traveler album.
Brooks' final installment of his The Limited Series collection includes Man Against Machine, Gunslinger, Fun and the three-disc Triple Live. The previous two sets were released in 1998 and 2005.
The success of "Rodeo Man" comes just as Brooks readies to open his Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk on Broadway in Nashville on Black Friday with an exclusive concert. To win tickets, fans must listen to Brooks' The BIG 615 station on TuneIn.
