Did you ever in a million years think that your loyal fans would still be there for you and your family after all these years? We loved all your concerts in Buffalo and sure do miss you! I'm sure we will take any thing you have to offer us as your loyal fans! Thank you Garth for all the memories.
Martha A., West Seneca, NY

Hey Martha, I'm amazed at the presence of the people who are still there. Although we haven't had anything new at radio for almost five years, I believe I hear us more on the radio now than when we were touring. It just shows me that I was part of a wonderful marriage between the music and the people, and marriages like that are timeless. Thanks for reaching out to me.
Garth, I've heard conflicting statements about your retirement. Are you retired from recording & touring or just touring? In an interview with Trisha, she claims your only retired from touring. Others have said your not going to release any new CD's either. Please clarify. Many Thanks!!!
Stan M., Toms River, NJ

Hey Stan, Thanks for the opportunity to clear things up. When I retired I still had some existing obligations as an artist. One of them was if at any time fate allowed Miss Yearwood and me to record a duet album that I would pursue the opportunity. She knows that and maybe that's why she excluded "recording" from her explanation.
Dear Garth, Personally, I admire you for your decision to retire to be with your children, especially at the height of your career! Being a mom to two boys who are both very interested in music, I am curious as to whether or not your daughters have an interest in music and whether or not you would encourage them to enter the music industry if they desire.
Roxie, Monticello, WI

Hey Roxie, First of all, hug your babies for me. I'm sure you and I and every other parent feel the same way about these things. Like my father, I would like for each of my children to get a real job. If their hearts are set on playing music, how could I possibly look them in the eyes and tell them it's only a dream. You'll make the right decision. More importantly, your children will make the right decisions for themselves. Good luck.
Mr. Brooks, I am 19 years old and I have been listening to your music since I can remember. Is there any possibility that you would please do one more concert? It is one of my dreams to see you perform live.
Tori H., Ooltewah, TN

Hey Tori, The day we decided to retire I knew the part I would miss the most is those two hours on stage every night. It makes me feel warm inside to hear that people miss the stage show. It was the best of times, and if God allows the window to open again, it will be even better.
Hey Garth, it seems that most all questions are regarding your future plans and the possibility of another solo project. While I certainly understand and appreciate your reasons for retiring from music, I think I speak for many people when I say I would love to see a future duet project with Trisha. Are there any possibilities of that now that some of the "red tape" may be gone?
Matt J., Shady Spring, WV

Hey Matt, It took me forever to ask Miss Yearwood to marry me. I won't wait that long to ask her to do a duet record with me. My red tape, as you phrased it, is gone. However, she is her own artist and has her own contractual agreements to abide by. Only time will tell, but if the opportunity comes along, I'd love to do it...for my sake. Thanks pal.
